Service updates

On Wednesday, January 17, we released the following updates to our service:

  • Payment Posting: Post payments correctly when cross-over with no secondary payer. (FB18503)
  • Payment Posting: Limit secondary payments applied from ERAs to the Claim Paid Amount. (FB18770)
  • Payment Posting: Auto apply patient payments by patient responsibility instead of total balance. (FB18773)
  • Payment Posting: Fixed problems caused by ERAs with only reversal information. (FB18774)
  • Payment Posting: Better processing for adjustments in payments from secondaries. (FB18804)
  • Payment Posting: Default status change now only transfers to next payer if posting payment from currently-assigned payer. (FB18912)
  • Patient Statements: Prevent statements from being sent out multiple times in certain situations.
  • Reports: Added filter and grouping by Scheduling Provider on various reports. (FB18753)
  • Reports: Added filter, grouping and sub-grouping by Default Rendering Provider. (FB18999)
  • Document Management: Prevent an error while rotating grayscale or color images. (FB18313)
  • Contracts: Allowed setting of RVUs on practice standard contracts. (FB18964)
  • Eligibility: Prevent error in checking eligibility for new, still-unsaved policies of existing patients. (FB18997)
  • Patient Screen: Add "Emergency Room" as one of referral types. (FB19052)

  • Payment Posting: Improved automatic matching up of payers to patient insurance policies. (FB18920)
  • Payments: Fixed problem of find payment by reference number that contains alpha characters. (FB18803)

We've released a new application update on 1/10/2007 at 10PM PST.  This update included several critical fixes resulting from the release last weekend, including:

  • Constraint on payment posting date too restrictive (Case 18497)
  • Missed copays are automatically billed to patient, when the patient has more than one insurance (Case 18495)
  • Leaving allowed amount $0.00, but entering the paid field doesn't apply a payment (Case 18446)
  • Payments posted recently are not showing in Recent Payments in Patient Activities (Case 18516)
  • Allow blank scheduling provider on encounter details (Case 18458)
  • Provider numbers not printing on paper forms (Case 18519)
  • Open existing patient payment and no service lines are displayed (Case 18184)
  • Payment type of payments are not being displayed correctly on reports (Case 18525)
