Gateway-Falsely titled rejections

For all the Gateway EDI Kareo customers:  This is a heads up in case you have rejections for same day duplicate.  The rejections are falsely labeled and are really not rejections.  Gateway EDI was experiencing some conversion problems that caused these errors, but we have caught them and will be refiling these claims.  The good claims should be showing by Tuesday of next week.

Code Check unavailable Friday night April 20

CodeCorrect will be unavailable Friday April 20, starting 6:00pm PST through Saturday April 21 at approximately 6:00am PST for system maintenance. In that period the Kareo Code Check service will not be available.  Kareo will be otherwise fully operational in this time frame.

Issue Fixed: CodeCorrect connection issues

Kareo released a minor patch on the evening of April 11.

  • Fix: Case Encounter Detail: Rendering provider no longer blanking out (FB21295).
  • Fix: Sporadic DMS uploading and downloading problems fixed (FB21249).
  • Fix: kFax number field now working correctly (FB21201).
  • Fix: In Practitioner now able to save encounter if patient was entered by SSN (FB21274).
  • Fix: In Practitioner the Referring Provider is now populated during conversion from mobile encounter (FB21332).
  • Fix: In Payment details, incorrect transactions in some scenarios no longer being posted. (FB21202)

Minor System Update

Kareo released a minor update to the client software on Sunday, April 8.

Changes

  • Fix: Dunning message and patient note have been added to on-demand patient statement (FB21241)
  • Fix: Claims Browser Error Bucket now works correctly (FB12597)
  • Fix: Local names, if available, are now printed on the on demand patient statements (FB21277)
  • Fix: Claim Transactions created via Payment Screen (ASN, BLL) now have correct posting dates (FB21237)

Known Issues


Payment Posting Bugs: Several Kareo customers have reported bugs with the payment posting screen. Kareo engineering continues to work on fixes for a number of problems with payment posting, and we expect to release a software update with these fixes within the next two weeks.
