Kareo will be performing system maintenance on our network infrastructure during the evening this Thursday, May 24, starting at 10:00pm PDT, and concluding at 1:00am PDT. Kareo will be unavailable during this time. You will still be able to visit this status blog for updates.

We are pleased to notify you of an important change to the way you enroll your practices for patient statement services with Kareo. Effective immediately, all customers enrolling new practices in patient statement services, including those practices currently pending an enrollment, must follow the new process outlined in the Kareo Patient Statement Enrollment Guide, located at the web address below.

Many of our customers have challenged us to come up with a faster method to enroll new practices in patient statement services. In response to your feedback, we have decided to open up the process by providing you a self-service guide to manage your own enrollment process through direct communication with our existing patient statements partner, PSC Info Group, a national provider of outsourced patient statement printing & mailing services.
Under the newly redesigned process, you can enroll new practices in patient statement services simply by following the instructions in the Kareo Patient Statement Enrollment Guide and communicating directly with PSC Info Group, who will set up your account and send you proofs directly. By extracting ourselves from the process, we believe you will be able to set up new practices more quickly. However, you can rest assured that you will be able to continue to submit your patient statement batches directly from Kareo, your patient statements will be printed and mailed by the same business partner Kareo has used for more than 2 years, and all patient statement fees will continue to appear on your monthly Kareo invoice.
It is very important to note that if you have any practices that are currently in the middle of the patient statement enrollment process, it is now your responsibility to refer to the Kareo Patient Statement Enrollment Guide, find the current stage of the process for the outstanding practice, and to assume responsibility of the final stages of the process until your enrollment is complete.

Recently, it was brought to our attention that a system error was causing duplicate claims submissions from the Kareo application. We've corrected this problem so there should be no further duplicate claims errors.
