    Tuesday, Jul 10, 2007 - 11:59:09 AM

Kareo customers may experience delays in claim submissions. All claims will be processed and submitted, but you may experience 1-3 day delay in some cases. We expect to eliminate this delay and resume immediate claim submissions as soon as possible. We will provide further updates over the next couple days.

Problems reported with installing Kareo on computers for the first time

    Tuesday, Jul 3, 2007 - 06:11:34 PM

A few customers have reported that Kareo will fail to install on a clean computer where Kareo has never been installed in the past.  We have confirmed the problem, and believe that it may be related to the installation of the .NET framework.  Until we finish our research and determine the permanent fix we recommend that customers affected by this problem install the .NET framework separately before installing Kareo.  To do so, visit  this Microsoft page  and download and install the "dotnetfx.exe" program.  Once finished, try installing Kareo again.

If you already have Kareo installed, you are not affected by the problem.  Only perform the step described above if when installing Kareo you receive a message "Runtime Error" and "abnormal program termination".  We will post another update when we have determined the cause and permanently fix the problem.

    Problems accessing Kareo this morning

    Sunday, Jul 1, 2007 - 09:51:43 AM

This Sunday, July 1, at 8:00 a.m. PDT customers reported an inability to log into Kareo.  Upon investigation we determined that one of our servers was not operating and our monitoring system was not correctly configured to restart that server in case of failure.  We had fixed the problem and the monitoring system by 9:30 a.m.  For the upcoming release our engineers are working on an updated monitoring system to more intelligently determine different kinds of downtime and immediately report them to our production support team. We apologize for today's problem and the inconvenience it caused.
