Duplicate Claim Submissions

We have corrected the issue that caused the duplicate submissions and all claims submitted today are now being sent to the clearinghouses for processing. You will experience a 1-2 day delay in getting your confirmation reports back.
The clearinghouses returned the following messages back from the affected claims:
· Rendering Provider NPI is required and must be valid for this payer = received from Gateway EDI
· REJECTED AT CLEARINGHOUSE DUPLICATE CLAIM SUBMITTED PREVIOUSLY = received from Capario / MedAvant
Please note your claims were forwarded onto the payer it was just the duplicate submissions that were rejected.
Kareo is currently experiencing a technical problem that is causing duplicate claim submissions. To prevent this issue from getting any worse we will hold all claims until the problem is fixed before submitting them to the clearinghouse. Our team is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
