Kareo is currently experiencing technical problems with Real-time Eligibility due to connectivity issues at Gateway. Gateway is working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Kareo will update you once this is fixed.

In observance of the winter holidays, Kareo will observe the following holiday hours:
Below are the holiday schedules for our clearinghouse partners:
Capario: will be closed December 24, 25, 31st and January 1st.
During this period: Claims will be accepted but they will not be processed or sent to the payer until Monday December 28th and January 4th. Real-time Eligibility will continue to be available throughout the holiday.

Update 12/8: CMS is now working to get all the affected ERA files out and expects to have this completed by week’s end.
Kareo has learned from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that there is a nationwide delay for remit files dated November 23 through December 1. The CMS datacenter is currently working on a resolution to correct the ERA delivery issue. This issue affects ERA files received via the Gateway EDI, Office Ally, or Capario clearinghouses.
Kareo will post all updates here as we receive them from the clearinghouses or CMS.
