CMS System Unavailable - Affects all Medicare Eligibility Transactions (270/271)

Update 9/23@ 3:43pm PDT: This issue has been fixed by CMS, Medicare eligibility is back online.
Effective: September 14, 2010
Details:
Both Gateway EDI and Capario have informed Kareo that the Medicare 270/271 Eligibility system is currently unavailable. The system is not accepting new eligibility requests; requests to open a socket to connect to the application are being rejected.
This issue has been escalated to CMS/ Medicare IT for review and resolution. We will post addition updates from CMS as we get them.

Appointment reports and API services currently unavailable

Update 9/7@ 11:05AM PDT: This issue has been resolved.
Kareo is currently experiencing a technical problem which is preventing the printing of appointment reports and use of our API services. Our team is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
