May 3, 2011 at 10:00 am ET: Transition complete. Processing starts with Cigna Government Services (CGS)

Details:

CMS announced that Kentucky Part B processing will transition from National Government Services to CIGNA Government Services-Jurisdiction 15 A/B Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC).

    •  Submitters do not need to re-enroll 
    •  Capario will hold claims for 4/29/2011 and 5/2/2011 files and deliver them to CGS on Tuesday, May 3rd.
    •  Enrollment for new providers will be managed by NGS through September 30, 2011.

NGS EDI Help Desk - From April 30, 2011 - September 30, 2011:

During this period Kentucky Part B can still use the NGS EDI Help Desk at: (877) 273-4334 or NGS_EDI_PartB@wellpoint.com.

Use these, as needed, to confirm your NPI and other provider IDs to verify processing after May 2, 2011.

Submitter Actions:

No action required. Transition from National Government Services to Cigna Government Services will be seamless.

Update: 4/7 = All the delayed ERA's have been sent and you should have them in Kareo by the end of the week.

There is a delay in the delivery of the Medicare Part B Electronic Remittance Advice for the states of AZ, MT, and OR for April 4, 2011 and the states of SD, WY, UT, OR, WA, and AZ for April 5, 2011. EDI Support Services (EDISS) is working to correct this issue and will send a follow-up email once the issue has been resolved.

Details:

On May 28, 2011 processing for North Carolina Medicare (MR020) will transition to Palmetto GBA.

On, or before, May 13 submitters to NC Medicare must return a signed, original Jurisdiction 11 – NC Part B Transition EDI Enrollment Agreement to Palmetto GBA. Click Here for the agreement.

Submitter Actions:

For all submitters - On or before May 13 a signed original copy of the Part B Transition EDI Enrollment Agreement must be returned to Palmetto GBA to avoid interruption of EDI services with the payer.

** Provider Action Required** North Carolina Medicare Part B move to Palmetto Jurisdiction 11

Effective May 28, 2011, North Carolina Medicare Part B providers will be transitioned to Palmetto GBA.  Palmetto GBA is sending out Welcome letters to all existing Medicare providers informing them that a new EDI Agreement will be required and the website location of the form.

This re-enrollment form should be completed based on how you have credentialed with this payer, as a group or individual.  Only one form is required if you are submitting as a group.

Please complete, sign, and return this form to Gateway EDI for processing.
 
Gateway EDI will complete the Clearinghouse portion of this enrollment when your form is processed.  To avoid an interruption in claim processing, please return this form to the below address no later than April 30, 2011.
